Currently, she works with International Indigenous Women’s Federation (IIWF-FIMI) and is part of various foundations and non-for-profit establishments as a Board Member and a source of inspiration. She has been awarded with prestigious awards and nominee of the Nobel Peace Prize 2005 (awarded as 1000 Peace Women across the globe). Homraj Acharya is an international development and public policy professional, social justice, climate advocate and a changemaker with over 15 years of experience both in the U.S. and South Asia. In the beginning of 2019, he conceptualized, designed and executed the Nepal Padayatra 2019, a walk across Nepal to bring attention to the continuing practice of untouchability, racial and caste-based discrimination and generate practical, locally based solutions through interactions with hundreds of municipalities and thousands of individuals along the over 800-mile route. In December of 2020, Acharya awarded the title of changemaker by a New York-based publication, Nepalism.com. As a thought leader, he has mentored, inspired and worked with diverse groups of people to establish initiatives to tackle local challenges and find collaborative solutions. He has engaged extensively with elected officials, governments, private enterprises, civil society organizations, and trade and business associations to promote fair laws, implement public-private partnerships, and strengthen mechanisms for encouraging inclusive policy development processes, climate, caste and racial justice.

Isha is an undergraduate student at the University of Warwick studying Politics, International Studies and Quantitative Methods. Isha has previously worked in various sectors such as finance, public affairs and not for profit, this allows her to deliberate various perspectives when creating editorial content for MAMI. She is an active campaigner against structural violence and has a keen interest in promoting equal rights, quality education and access to healthcare. Responsibilities include editing content for MAMI, managing various editorial work and supporting campaigns.

Jyoti Dhungana holds a degree on Public health with an academic Excellence award, from Purbanchal University. She has an extensive background in health care management and public health and has previously served as a research associate in Patan academy of health science (PAHS). In addition to this, she has led groundbreaking work on lymphatic Filariasis at Okhaldhunga as a counselor. Much of her current research involves on sanitization and personal hygiene management. Jyoti has a keen interest on working with health professionals for upgrading the living standards of the underprivileged individuals. Her past experience and qualifications make her an impeccable program coordinator and she has already led many successful campaigns for MAMI.

He holds a master degree on Sociology from Tribhuwan University and has 30 years of experience in numerous fields such as community development, child rights & protection, , gender & women rights, Human rights, livelihood and micro-finance and lobby & advocacy for human trafficking, child labour and child marriage issues. He has previously worked with PLAN International Nepal to mobilize local knowledge, resources and organizations to meet community needs in the Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Bara, Rautahat and Sindhuli Districts.His years of knowledge and experience are highly valuable for the MAMI Foundation.
