Dr. Kedar Baral

Board Director & Advisor, Nepal

Dr.Baral is a public health physician with over 25 years of experience in the field of public health. He has previously served Patan Academy of health Sciences (PAHS) in the capacity of Rector. Currently, he works at the Patan Academy of Health Sciences in Kathmandu. Specialising in Public Health and having worked in various projects to improve the physical, mental and social health of Nepal makes Dr. Baral an indispensable member of MAMI Foundation.

Praveen Moturu

Praveen Moturu is a Vice President, Chief Enterprise Architect at Mars Inc with over 25 years of experience in IT, Architecture and Digital Transformation within global and fortune 500 organizations. He has a significant record of inspiring and motivating individuals or teams to consistently achieve results. He is an approachable, effective communicator who interacts at all levels to foster comfortable work culture. He is a decisive, action-oriented leader who is able to build teams, drive change, improve productivity, and reduce costs and improve organizational development and effectiveness, financial planning / analysis, and strategy alignment. Chhing Lamu Sherpa

Board Director and Advisor, Nepal

Chhing Lamu Sherpa is a philanthropist with over 25 years of experience in the field of human rights, biodiversity and international indigenous women. She has previously served as a Unit Head of Eastern Region in Plan International Nepal, Facilitator and program leader in Mountain Spirit and Sr Gender Development officer in Makalu-Barun Conservation program. Currently, she works with International Indigenous Women’s Federation (IIWF-FIMI) and is part of various foundations and non-for-profit establishments as a Board Member and a source of inspiration. She has been awarded with prestigious awards and nominee of the Nobel Peace Prize 2005 (awarded as 1000 Peace Women across the globe). Mrs. Sherpa is championing MAMI Foundation cause to bring quality education for everyone.

Sudeep Regmi

Chairman and Founder, US

Sudeep Regmi holds an Electronics Engineering (Hons) from Allahabad University and a Master of Business Administration from Bangalore University. Mr.Regmi began his career as a Lecturer but later became an IT Geek and pursed a career as an IT professional in India, UK and USA. He has a passion for education and educational reforms. He is a strong advocate for the digitization of the education system and believes that every child around the globe should have the opportunity to read and write.

Anup Poudel

Operation Head, US

Anup grew up in Patan, Nepal, and currently works in Banking Technology covering North America. He started his volunteer social services activities from St. Xavier's, Kathmandu as a member of the Alumni organization there. Through the vision of the Shree Mami foundation, and its grassroots effort, he hopes to get involved back with the Nepali community again.

Homraj Acharya

Advisor, US

Homraj Acharya is an international development and public policy professional, social justice, climate advocate and a changemaker with over 15 years of experience both in the U.S. and South Asia. In the beginning of 2019, he conceptualized, designed and executed the Nepal Padayatra 2019, a walk across Nepal to bring attention to the continuing practice of untouchability, racial and caste-based discrimination and generate practical, locally based solutions through interactions with hundreds of municipalities and thousands of individuals along the over 800-mile route. In December of 2020, Acharya awarded the title of changemaker by a New York-based publication, Nepalism.com. As a thought leader, he has mentored, inspired and worked with diverse groups of people to establish initiatives to tackle local challenges and find collaborative solutions. He has engaged extensively with elected officials, governments, private enterprises, civil society organizations, and trade and business associations to promote fair laws, implement public-private partnerships, and strengthen mechanisms for encouraging inclusive policy development processes, climate, caste and racial justice.

Anil Deoja

Anil Deoja hold a Masters degree in Humanities and Social Sciences. He has had a successful career spanning over more than two decades working at Plan International at various capacities specializing in Child Sponsorship Management.

Prakash Nath Dhungel

Public Relation Manager, Nepal

Prakash Nath Dhungel is a philanthropist and businessman. He has been supporting various formal and non formal not for profit companies for the last 25 years. He is passionate about promoting welfare. Prakash is supporting MAMI foundation as secretary and principal consultant.

Isha Mandke

Operation Head, UK

Isha is an undergraduate student at the University of Warwick studying Politics, International Studies and Quantitative Methods. Isha has previously worked in various sectors such as finance, public affairs and not for profit, this allows her to deliberate various perspectives when creating editorial content for MAMI. She is an active campaigner against structural violence and has a keen interest in promoting equal rights, quality education and access to healthcare. Responsibilities include editing content for MAMI, managing various editorial work and supporting campaigns.

Jyoti Dhungana

Program Manager & Public Health Advisor

Jyoti Dhungana holds a degree on Public health with an academic Excellence award, from Purbanchal University. She has an extensive background in health care management and public health and has previously served as a research associate in Patan academy of health science (PAHS). In addition to this, she has led groundbreaking work on lymphatic Filariasis at Okhaldhunga as a counselor. Much of her current research involves on sanitization and personal hygiene management. Jyoti has a keen interest on working with health professionals for upgrading the living standards of the underprivileged individuals. Her past experience and qualifications make her an impeccable program coordinator and she has already led many successful campaigns for MAMI.

Ram Khatri

Field Implementation Manager, Nepal

Ram Khatri is an experienced Gender and Child Rights program specialist. He holds a master degree on Sociology from Tribhuwan University and has 30 years of experience in numerous fields such as community development, child rights & protection, , gender & women rights, Human rights, livelihood and micro-finance and lobby & advocacy for human trafficking, child labour and child marriage issues. He has previously worked with PLAN International Nepal to mobilize local knowledge, resources and organizations to meet community needs in the Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Bara, Rautahat and Sindhuli Districts.His years of knowledge and experience are highly valuable for the MAMI Foundation.

Sanu Shrestha

Administrative Manager, Nepal

Sanu Shrestha holds a master’s degree and is a qualified schoolteacher. She is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the not-for-profit sector. She has had a successful career at Plan International spanning over a decade during which she attended international events in USA. Her experience and expertise make her a valuable asset for MAMI, and her responsibilities include liaising with government officials, policy advice and program management.

Rashmi Dhungel

Treasurer, Nepal

Rashmi Dhungel is supporting MAMI as a Treasurer. She has been working as a philanthropist for the last 20 years.

Bonnie Hall

Consultant, US

Bonnie works in the beverage sector, focusing on tea and coffee, and has worked closely with tea farms across Argentina, India and China in her professional career. She has long held a love of Asia and looks to contributing in Shree Mami Foundation's efforts as it strives to better the lives of youth in Nepal.
